Christie Napa Scollon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western Washington University since 2018. Christie has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education. Christie earned her Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has authored several research articles on topics related to subjective well-being and culture and emotions. Dr. Scollon is the 2015 recipient of the Lee Kong Chian Fellowship for Research Excellence and the 2016 winner of the Singapore Management University Innovative Teacher Award. She currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Social and Personality Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Journal of Research in Personality, and Journal of Positive Psychology. |
